TermoEasy - the affordable and simple way to read the consumption of radiators heaters
|
In condominiums with central heating, in most of the world the law requires to divide the heating expenses by accounting for consumption. Often, the systems used to technically measure heating consumption, and to read it apartment by apartment, are a bit complicated.
Thus, the condominium frequently turns to an external company to run a annual consumption reading. That come to cost even 5 euros/pounds per radiator... so 20 or 30 or more per apartment... 500 maybe 1500 for the condo...
Things will be made simpler, and this money will be saved, if you get TermoEasy!
With TermoEasy installed and connected to your Control Unit:
- you can read heat consumption on your own; you just need a smartphone or a PC (no special software or special hardware required!)
- 0 euros/pounds per year per radiator
- you can read every time you want, not just once a year
- with WiFi / GSM editions, you can read at home (or everywhere there is the Internet) with a login to a website (example)
- your condo can become independent from third parts; the official yearly reading can be done by the administrator (or by a co-owner in charge)
- it's a single box to be placed on the top of the existing plant: no plant replacement works/expenses
- ready to run: insert batteries, plug into the control unit, do the setup with your phone, turn off and then forget (or you can have this done by a pro)

With the convenient "TermoEasy"
anybody (for example the administrator, or any co-owner in charge; and of course also a external installer), with
basic capabilities and common means (just a smartphone, a tablet or a PC, a Mac or iPhone/iPad)
can "read" the radiators at virtually zero cost. The readings can be viewed immediately and can be saved in the most standard formats such as Word, Excel, PDF to be reprocessed, communicated by email, etc. With the RemoteWiFi and RemoteGSM versions, the readings can be viewed also
over the Internet, in the comfort of your office or home.
You save the fee that you would pay to a external company, and you have better access to your data.
What TermoEasy is, actually
TermoEasy is a device of about 11 x 11 x 5 cm (4 x 4 x 2") that can be fixed to the wall usually next to or above the heat measurement Control Unit that is installed in the building. They will connect with a small plug. In the image above we show the Remote / WiFi version (the Standard edition looks very similar).
You can install it by yourself (it's really simple - you plug it, power on, then everything is set with a smartphone; a short paper manual is included) or contact your electrician or installer or computer specialist.
TermoEasy
works in support of a Control Unit / Concentrator (in most cases
you have it already installed and you already paid for it, and it is there somewhere - usually in the stairwell - but ... without TermoEasy you can not take full advantage of it !). TermoEasy is something like
its interpreter, like C-3PO of Star Wars. All versions of TermoEasy work with secondary data collectors / antennas / devices that comply with the M-Bus industrial standard (also known as
Meter-Bus or
MBUS; European standard
EN 13757). The product is born for the use with Siemens Control Units like WTT561 WTT16 (widespread in UK and Europe) and there are no theoretical limits of use.
In summary...
TermoEasy allows you to easily read the consumption divided for the individual apartments of a condominium - this to divide the costs of heating: each condominium with central heating does this (and has a control unit or so already installed).
TermoEasy works with control units / concentrators / antennas with
M-bus / European standard
EN-13757 (the vast majority of the installed units).
Any
co-owner attentive to the expense that wants to suggest a system to save money can propose the installation of TermoEasy. Or the proposal may come from an intelligent and cost-conscious
administrator, who will install it and - given the simplicity of everything - can make the readings himself (it is very simple: both on site and remotely the administrator will see
something like this page - click here). Or also a smart
installer/professional can propose TermoEasy to the condominium (adding a service fee); he can then make and deliver the readings himself, or he can directly give the condominium the possibility of a "restricted" online Web access: in this last case the administrator or the owners will see a
page like this - click here.
The Standard is the simplest and most affordable version of TermoEasy. Turn it on, connect yourself to its internal wifi called termoinfo.com, and after a few minutes you can view the consumption of the system on your smartphone, radiator by radiator. It has a handy internal utility that allows you to group radiators per apartment (groups will be saved for the future uses). The readings can be saved in Word, Excel and PDF format, and then you can process them, send them by email, and so on.
Advantages
It does not require 220V / mains, it works with 4 common Alkaline 1.5V AA batteries. It does not require a WiFi connection. It does not require a GSM SIM. It can be installed and used by anybody.
It repays for itself in just one year even if your condo is small.
There are no recurring expenses.
Disadvantages
You can not read consumption remotely (from the administrator office, etc.)
Standard: only 199.95, VAT included; sending 15€; manual included (on paper)
(see also the image for Remote / GSM below)
The RemoteWiFi version, first of all, can work just like the Standard (see above).
In addition, you may lean on an external WiFi (you can install one for this purpose, or, usually, given the very low data consumption - less than 0.001GB / month, you rely on a existing WiFi, for example the WiFi of a co-owner that gives his kind permission).
It can perform and store the consumption readings monthly, bi-weekly, or even daily (with daily readings, you will need lithium batteries or the 220V edition).
Advantages
It does not require the connection to 220V / mains (unless you want very frequent readings). You can see the readings from anywhere. For example, the administrator can see consumptions conveniently sitting in his office; and with the PDF file he/she already has the readings ready to be sent to owners (printed or by email). It can be installed and used by anybody (or it can also be placed and configured by a professional who may provide a "restricted" remote access for the building administrator and/or co-owners)
It can also be used in "Standard" mode if you don't want to use a external WiFi. Even in a small apartment building it repays for itself it in a year.
Disadvantages
For remote operation, requires a external WiFi. If you want very frequent readings, it is better to mount Lithium batteries (4 AA batteries, 1.5V) or to buy the 220V edition. There is a small annual fee to pay the convenience of viewing the readings through our server.
RemoteWiFi Battery: only 249.95 € (VAT included)
RemoteWiFi 220V-240V a.c.: only 289.95 € v.i.
(1 year of server fee included; sending. 15€; manual included (on paper))
(see also the image for Remote / WiFi above)
The RemoteGSM version, first of all, can work just like the Standard and the Remote / WiFi - it includes all their features (see above).
In addition, it can be equipped with a GSM SIM card (given the very low data consumption - less than 0.0001GB / month, it is not even necessary to subscribe to a "data" promotion). Then you can choose to perform the consumption readings monthly, bi-weekly, weekly or even daily.
Advantages
It does not require a 220V plug (unless you want frequent readings). You can see the readings from anywhere- For example, the administrator can see consumption conveniently sitting in his office; and with the PDF file he/she already has the readings ready to send to co-owners (printed or by email). It can be installed and used by anybody, you don't need to be an expert. It could also be placed and configured by a technician who can provide a "restricted" remote access for the building's administrator and/or co-owners.
It can also be used in "Standard" mode if you don't want to use it in WiFi / GSM mode. Even if your condo is small, it will repay for itself in one year or so.
Disadvantages
For remote operation, it requires a GSM SIM card or a external WiFi. If you want frequent readings, you should mount Lithium batteries (4 AA batteries 1.5V) or buy the 220V edition. It has a small annual fee to pay the convenience of viewing the readings through our server.
RemoteGSM Battery: only 299.95 € Vat Included
RemoteGSM 220V-240V a.c.: only 339.95 € v.i.
(1 year of server fee included; sending. 15€; manual included (on paper))
Are you ready to pay zero euros/pound per radiator? Choose the version you prefer and move to TermoEasy today!
The heat measurements are made for dividing the costs of heating... and regrettably you will always have to pay good money for the heating.
But the "reading" expenses, no: finally you can reduce or even *zero* them!!
